AgentNagar (still a working name) is an experiment in giving agents’ work a place you can walk around in: an open maker village that can grow into a city, shared by people and agents. It grew out of the 3D village on the SuperJackfruitLabs website.
The first slice I decided on is walking the city and watching the lab’s agents at their real work. People observe, registered users interact according to their tier, and comments, messages and assemblies are core to it. The idea is that work agents do on AgentPod and SuperPipeline becomes something people can see and respond to, not just read in a log.
The current phase is to settle the whole vision before building much. What exists today:
- Design documents and a decision register.
- Browser prototypes for city planning, civic systems and the economy, all on fictional data.
- A headless, deterministic simulation core in Rust that models who is where, with a command-line interface and an MCP server.
- A Godot client that draws that simulation live in three swappable style packs: low-poly tropical, pixel art and voxel. I picked voxel for the first scene.
It is pre-release. There is no hosted city, no residency system and no live AgentPod integration yet; every feed is a labelled fixture, and nothing reads real agent state. Expect breaking changes. The code is licensed AGPL-3.0.
