Fitholic is an AI fitness app. It generates personalised workouts and exercises, keeps an exercise library with video, and logs workouts and body measurements. It also has a chat interface for workout advice.
It came from wanting a fitness coach that builds workouts around my goals, fitness level and equipment. Fitness keeps turning up in my side projects.
The frontend is SvelteKit, with Paraglide for translations. The backend is FastAPI on Postgres through Supabase. The AI side uses LangChain with LangGraph. Workout generation is a loop: the user gives feedback and the agent refines the plan. The chat parses each message for intent and routes it to the matching node, such as exercise creation or workout generation. Generated workouts and exercises are returned as structured output validated with Pydantic models, and exercise generation looks up demonstration videos on YouTube.
Most of it was built in one week in January 2025, and I last touched it in April 2025. Form analysis and nutrition planning are still marked “coming soon”.
